Principal's Message

As I start my 22nd year in education and 12th year in Yorkville CUSD 115, I am still humbled by the Bristol Bay community's support for the education of our students. At Bristol Bay, I work with  amazing students, staff, and parents each day. Watching our youngest learners grow into innovative, risk-taking leaders is the highlight of working in a K-6 building.   

Throughout this school year, the staff has implemented numerous changes to assist students as they continue to grow academically and socially. Following the mission of the district, Bristol Bay Elementary School strives to provide continuous improvement, flexible learning, personalized environments, and innovative opportunities for students. We are doing things 'The Bay Way' and we are excited to be 'Rockin’ the Bay' this year as our school-wide theme. 

I love every day that I get to spend interacting with students. It is through these interactions that I am reminded how lucky I am to work with such a supportive and genuine community. Bristol Bay has so much to offer its students, and I am amazed at the commitment to learning by all community members. I am so fortunate to work in a community that supports family, and it is my hope that I am a support for each of the students at Bristol Bay Elementary School. My door is open for parents and I welcome the opportunity to get to know you.
